This section captures everything relating to trailers having a maximum authorised mass (MAM), which does not exceed 3,500kg. Light trailers have European categorisation and fall under both O1 and O2 categories. O1 trailers have a Gross Vehicle Design Weight (GVDW) of 750kg or less and O2 trailers have a GVDW over 750kg, but not exceeding 3,500kg.
